DStv Uganda crowned brand of the year 2025

KAMPALA – DStv Uganda has been crowned Brand of the Year at the prestigious G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) Marketers’ Awards during the 8th Marketers’ Fireplace organized by Uganda Marketers’ Society at Hotel Africana on Friday 7th of November 2025. This accolade, voted by members of the marketing society, recognizes the brand’s leadership in dynamism, creativity, and customer engagement in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
The G.O.A.T Awards are among Uganda’s most respected marketing accolades, celebrating brands and individuals who demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking and execution in marketing, branding, and communications.
Over the past year, DStv Uganda has launched impactful campaigns such as the ground-breaking weekly subscription packages campaign dubbed Ka Weekie on top of creatively executed staples like Step Up and the New Football Season. This has also included high impact local content like Kampala Crème, Super Sunday, and Damalie.
The marketing initiatives supporting these campaigns have deepened customer engagement and made world-class entertainment more accessible to Ugandans and grown the perception of DStv’s Uganda in homes across the country.
Adding to the triumph, Colin Asiimwe, Head of Marketing at MultiChoice Uganda, was honored as Marketer of the Year, cementing the company’s reputation for delivering innovative, consumer-driven campaigns that shape the entertainment landscape.
