KAMPALA – C-Care has hosted local medical workers to an aesthetics training, a specialized skilling on non-surgical cosmetic procedures aimed at improving appearance.
The exclusive private aesthetics training session, reinforced its position as the premier centre for aesthetic excellence and professional development in the country. It focused on advanced injection techniques for cutting-edge products, including Saypha dermal fillers and Botox.
The highly anticipated training was a collaborative effort between C-Care, one of the leading healthcare providers in Uganda and Enkaja Healthcare, the official representatives for Croma Pharma in the region.
The session was led by Dr. Ahmed, Croma Pharma’ official trainer, who is visiting Kampala to upskill local medical professionals. The private event was held at C-Care IHK in Namuwongo Friday October 17th, 2025.
The masterclass offered a hands-on opportunity for local practitioners to learn the latest, world-class techniques in non-surgical aesthetic procedures, ensuring they are equipped to deliver the safest and most innovative treatments to clients in Uganda.
Evelyn Kayanja, a pharmacist and clinical aesthetician at Care Spa IHK Namuwongo, said, “We had the privilege of hosting a seasoned medical professional who delivered a masterclass on aesthetic and regenerative injectables. As one of the demo models who received Botox, I can confidently say the procedure is safe, minimally invasive, and far less intimidating than many assume. This training not only reinforced proper technique and anatomy but also emphasized the importance of these treatments being performed by qualified healthcare professionals.”

Adding, “Many Ugandans seek these procedures abroad due to concerns about local expertise. By bringing in diaspora experts to train and mentor practitioners here at Care Spa IHK Namuwongo, we’re building trust in our own healthcare professionals and ensuring patients receive world-class care right at home.”
The training session highlighted the growing sophistication of the non-surgical aesthetics market in Uganda.
Dr. Ahmed shared his enthusiasm for the local talent and the growth
potential. “It has been a privilege to share advanced techniques for products like Saypha fillers and Botox with the dedicated medical professionals here at C-Care,” commented Dr. Ahmed.
Adding, “The commitment to learning and the existing skill level here are impressive. This collaboration is crucial for ensuring that, as the demand for aesthetic procedures grows, the quality and safety of treatments offered in Kampala match the highest international benchmarks. C-Care is clearly an innovation leader, bringing this calibre of training to the region.”
He said the hosting of this high-level training builds on C-Care’s commitment to expanding aesthetic services.
The C-Care Spa Aesthetic was successfully opened last year, immediately establishing itself as a key destination for cosmetic and rejuvenating treatments. This strategic initiative was often highlighted alongside major partnerships, such as the one C- Care IHK forged with Andalusia, a leading multi-speciality hospital in Egypt, to redefine plastic surgery excellence and introduce a comprehensive suite of medical plastic surgery, cosmetic, and aesthetics spa services. The Aesthetic Spa was created to provide a holistic plastic surgery experience, offering Ugandans safe and expert-supervised treatments including Botox and dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy.
