Premier Distilleries stake prizes worth Shs500 million

Artiste officially launch the Bikole Masavu Campaign.

KAMPALA – Premier Distilleries Limited (PDL), one of Uganda’s pioneer alcoholic beverage manufacturers, has announced the official launch of a nationwide consumer reward promotional campaign titled “Bikole Masavu”.
The campaign is set to run from August through November 2025. This bold new campaign will see over half a Shs500 million worth of prizes given away to loyal customers in celebration of 25 years of trusted quality and the enduring popularity of its flagship product, Coffee flavored Vodka.
The promotion, which is centered around the beloved Coffee flavored Vodka and Simba Gin, offers consumers the chance to win life-changing prizes by simply participating in an “under-the-cap” promotion. Every 200ml bottle of the coffee-vodka blend and the Simba Gin, retailing at Shs2,500, contains a chance to win. Prizes range from mobile money and airtime to motorcycles, TVs, tuk tuks, and a grand cash prize of Shs50 million.

“This campaign is our way of giving back to the everyday Ugandan who has supported us over the years,” said Soma Rushi, Managing Director, Premier Distilleries Limited. “The goal is to empower our consumers through functional prizes they can actually use to improve their livelihoods. We believe that real value comes from products that are both trusted and impactful, and that’s exactly what we’re celebrating with this promotion.”

The promotion also serves as a platform to reassert the brand’ commitment to quality and authenticity. These values have been at the heart of Premier Distilleries since its founding in 2001.
“For 25 years, Premier Distilleries has stood for quality and trust. This campaign is a reaffirmation of our promise to our consumers. We are investing in the people who have kept us here,” Rushi added.
During the launch of the campaign, singers Feffe Bussi and Karole Kasitawere unveiled as the campaign ambassadors, and the two artistes expressed their gratitude of being part of the campaign.
“We are so happy to be part of a campaign aimed at rewarding Ugandans many of whom are our fans. We therefore call upon all our fans out there to
drink and participate so that they get a chance of winning some of these lifechanging prizes,” Feffe Bussi said. The campaign is expected to run for a total of three months and impact over 400,000 Ugandans. Consumers can participate by purchasing a bottle of either Coffee flavored Vodka or Simba Gin, checking under the cap for a unique code, SMS it to 6688 for a chance to win instantly.
