United Arab Emirates base real estate company Reportage Properties, has partnered with National Housing and Construction Company Ltd to construct a flat in Bukoto to be bought on a condominium where an individually owned residential unit is in the building on flexible installment terms. Speaking at the launch of the sales project at Four Points by Sheraton, Kampala, Wednesday, July 7^th, 2024, Mr Alkeshkumar Rajput, the Chief Executive Officer, Reportage Properties, East Africa said the initiative is to provide the public with affordable housing units.

Reportage Properties already has ongoing projects in Kampala, with investments of approximately shillings135.5 billion in the first phase of its total investment in Uganda. This figure is expected to increase significantly in the second phase, reaching Shillings414.3 billion, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the country’s real estate sector with a gap deficit of about 500,000 units.

He said the collaboration with National Housing and Construction Company Ltd underscores Reportage Properties’ strategic expansion into the Ugandan market, with focus on delivering modern and affordable housing solutions.

Rajput, emphasized the project’s ‘mixed-use’ nature, combining commercial facilities on the ground and first floors with residential units on higher levels.

He highlighted the importance of collaboration in addressing Uganda’s housing needs, affirming the company’s commitment to delivering quality housing solutions in partnership with National Housing and Construction Company Ltd.

He reassured potential buyers of the project’s affordability and encouraged early bookings to expedite the acquisition process.
