Deputy Speaker in chopper crash

A helicopter carrying the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Tomas Tayebwa has been involved in a crash in Western Uganda.
The East African Vanguard has learnt that the chopper crashed on Saturday 3rd August 2024 evening. Whereas details about the incident are still scanty, Tayebwa posted on X “Dear all, my colleagues no one is hurt.”
Efforts to get a comment from Assistant Commissioner of Police Rusoke Kituuma Police Spokesperson were futile as his phones are off
