President Museveni to address the nation

ENTEBBE – The Presidential Press Unit (PPU) would like to announce that H.E. Gen (Rtd) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the UPDF, will deliver his end-of-year address to the nation on Tuesday, 31st December 2024, at 8 p.m.
In a press statement issued by Haji Faruk Kirunda, Deputy Spokesperson off the President, the address will be broadcast live on all radio and television stations, as well as online.
Meanwhile the President has also received a special message from H.E. Mohamed Al-Menfi, the President of the Presidential Council of Libya.
The message was delivered by Dr. Khaled Kaim, the Senior Political Advisor to the Libyan President, during a meeting at President Museveni’s country home in Rwakitura.
The discussions between President Museveni and Dr. Kaim also focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment and other mutual interests aimed at fostering relations between Uganda and Libya.
