Tanzania see off South Sudan to reach final

 DAR ES SALAAM – The final of the 2026 CECAFA U17 Women’s Championship is confirmed following the successful completion of the semifinal games on Sunday.

Hosts Tanzania and neighbours Uganda will face off in the final on Tuesday after the two convincingly won their respective semifinal games.

Bahat Kizanguzi led the damage on South Sudan, bagging a brace before Yasinta Kaluwa and Harrier Juma added a goal each.

In the other semifinal, Uganda got the better of Kenya, winning 3-0 thanks to goals from Shadia Nabirye, Immaculate Acen and Justine Ayerango.
